However , as the first prehistoric family ever, they did not know what to where .Movie "the Croods" tells about Grug , a father figure that often scares his family with spooky stories about how dangerous it is in the outside world.

The fearful Grug finally made his 5 member family never see any place except the cave they stayed in. Until one day, Eep , Daughter of Grug who are adventurous and always hungry for a challenge , tried to run away .

Shortly after Eep left the cave, unexpectedly there are a major disaster that destroyed their residence. Inevitably, Grug and their family members , Ugga  , Gran  , and Thunk must follow Eep to find the location of a new residence .
